Silhouette of A Dream

She slips away like the sands of time,

By silhouette candle light,

You knew your fates written in her eyes

I’ll roam in this place in the lonely crowd

Chasing the lost fantasy of a living dream

He enters like a knight in shining armor
atop a white horse of flaming passion.
I saw my destiny in his stare,
and found myself mindlessly following,
pursuing the fantasy of what could be.
